Moving Boat out of Turkey ... COVID

We are very excited to be buying a beautiful, lovingly cared for sailboat that is currently lying in Turkey.

We want to move the boat into the EU as soon as possible after purchase, but are up against restrictions on boats moving between Turkey and Greece.

Does anyone have recent experience (August 2020) or even hearsay on moving a boat out of Turkey?

I've heard going via Cyprus is a possibility, but my investigations have turned up nil.

Friends, after a few months finally managed to return to their boat in southern Turkey. Frantically prepared and launched then sailed direct to the Ionian via the peloponese, signed in as if they'd just arrived from Italy went through the Cornith and are now back in the Aegean. Didn't take long.

You simply bypass Greece and head to Sicily or Malta. However, remenber that every country is changing the regulations every day, thus I am not sure if you would be welcomed in any EU country asCovid is in raise almost everwhere.. Even worse, the regulations might change when you are under way.
To me the most logical solution is to leave the boat where she's for this year and plan to move her next season. In the meantime you can freely cruise in Turkey.
