My girlfriend and I
live aboard our sailboat, but are planning on
buying a small (less than 12M) powerboat to
cruise the canals and rivers of
Europe in the summer months.
I am looking for
advice on dependable dutch
steel boat manufacturers and what
boat models to avoid.
I've heard from a Dutch
charter boat operator to avoid Peugeot diesels, and probably DAF diesels as
parts are scarce. Does anyone have further information on whether this is sound
advice or not?
Since our
budget is limited, we are looking at older
steel boats, but want to make sure we get a boat from a reputable manufacturer.
Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.
