I am interested in doing a
bareboat charter from the Ligurian Coast (Italy) or Cote D'Azur (France) to
Corsica this summer. I know that this will require an overnight sail and that the Mistral winds can make this tricky.
The one
broker I have contacted with access to several different companies in this area has said that none would allow this due to
insurance limitations, which I can understand.
I would like to see if anyone on this forum is aware of companies that would allow it or other ways it could be done.
I have done similar crossings before from
Florida to the
Bahamas and am
ASA 104 certified. I sailed off the Tuscan coast last summer around Elba so don't have interest in doing that again and am not interested in doing a
bareboat rental on
Corsica.
