I am installing three Battle Born 100AH
Lithium batteries in parrallel.
This was not my first choice, but they were the most rediliy available.
These
batteries have an internal BMS but no external indication of any problem.
Normally, I would combine batteries with the positive and negative leads coming off different batteries at the ends of the parrallel string.
Like this:
However, in this case I am thinking of making up six identical
cables and running a cable from each
battery terminal to a positive or negative bus-bar.
My reasoning is that this would allow me to check the function of each
battery with a clamp meter, also if there was a problem it would be easier to remove one battery.
Is there a reason not to do this ?
Am I just being parinoid ?
