(needed) improvements of PRIVILEGE 435

Aboard my catamaran PRIVILEGE 435 GALAWA II , which, for all its finest joinery, was in many respects unconfortable, I made a number of changes :
Of which :
1 An all weather- all seas - each cabin ventilation system
2. A ‘hook-lock’ on the cockpit door
3. A 4 purposes fiberglass mast step
4. A 4 purposes extra winch & support for the main sheet
5. A new, double, sea worthy helmsman seat
6. A cutout of port transom to make it so much easier to get in and out of dingy

Voila !

I think the OP means "staysail" when he says "mizzen", with respect to the added winch. Nice work!

Re: (needed) improvements of PRIVILEGE 435

A couple that I can think of to Confianza (outside of the big stuff like lithium setup, new beta engines, power generation/solar, all new nav electronics)...

New fans - we couldn't stand all the vibration noise that the original ones made

Camera under the port bow pulp seat - visibility for when the jib is blocking view on stbd tack

Raritan Marine Elegance Toilets - Angie and guests have unanimously agreed that this is the best upgrade

Mast Step Plate - we had to pull the mast, so while I was at it, I put a mast step plate under the mast so we could hook additional blocks for future rigging routing (haven't used it extensively yet though. I'd like to run the main halyard to the cockpit eventually).

One thing that I'm working on figuring out is a staysail. Confianza did not come with one. Anyone have a staysail rigged? I am hoping to achieve some more comfortable sailing in higher winds up wind, and ideally some better pointing (but I doubt it).
