Torres Strait Islands Water - Infectious Parasites

We were told yesterday that the water on Thursday Island (and surrounding islands) is not safe for drinking and is recommend to be boiled for most uses, including brushing teeth.

If we would have known we would have gotten more in Cooktown or sooner. We had some but bought several 10L jugs on Thursday Island for our next passage.
