Looking for link to an older cruising couple

I am trying to locate a link to postings by a couple from the NE, possibly Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts or other. The lady worked, prior to leaving on their cruise, at a sailing magazine I believe, possibly Cruising World.
One of the reasons for their set off as I remember had to do with a health issue.
I am interested in revisiting their video postings.
I don't remember how long ago this was, but it could have been as much as 20 years ago.
Thank you for any information you may have.
Richard

Perhaps you are referring to Beth Leonard and Evans Starzinger?

Re: Looking for link to an older cruising couple

Don’t recall any heath problems with the Starzinggers. Beth worked for CW after they stopped cruising in Hawk Also they were pretty much pre video as was anything 20 years ago that I can recall.
Please. Post if you fugitive it out.

A NE couple set off 6yrs ago in a Bristol 29. They were in their late 50’s and the husband had heart issues. Their boat and website is entitled “Peguclub” or “Pegu Club”

We've (Kimberly and Jeff) spent three years cruising to the Bahamas on “Pegu Club”, our Bristol 29.9.
In 2017, Jeff recieved a diagnosis of congestive heart failure. After a cardiac ablation in March, 2018 restored his heart into normal rhythm, his cardiologist was well aware of our cruising dreams and she gave us the go-ahead to leave in the fall of 2018. She didn’t have to tell us twice, and we moved onto the boat on July 27th, cutting the dock lines on September 3rd, 2018.
Since then we have been cruising up and down the U.S. East Coast and the Bahamas with plans to continue as long as it’s fun and health allows.

Re: Looking for link to an older cruising couple

Do the names Ann Hoffner and Tom Bailly off "Oddly Enough" ring a bell. Ann did write for some magazines and Tom did photography. They cruised around the Pacific and Australia over 20 years ago. I think "Oddley Enough" was a Cal 38 but I'm not sure. They lived in New Jersey and may still be there. I do have their email address.
