Maybe a last minute entry will work better than the early bird that didn't get the worm.

The 45 lb galvanized will work fine for me!

Looks like a really good anchor. We have been satisfied with our Bruce type but this would be an improvement.

Thanks for sponsoring the contest!

Thanks, Mantus! The 35 lb galvanized would work nicely on our ComPac 27:

I'd use my winnings to buy a new 65# Mantus primary anchor.

Re: Sept Giveaway: Mantus Beats a Thousand Again!

I think I would like the 85# but not to sure I could handle such a big anchor at my age so I am interested in the 65# galvanized. I have several anchors aboard but this one has features I like like the roll over bar. I have had mis-sets with CQR's and Deltas so yous is intriguing. So that is what I would purchase and then the bridle. http://mantusanchors.com/wp-content/...ing-guide2.jpg

The bridle also seems like a useful snubber as does the mooring device. I watched the videos too.

Thanks Mantus! I've used a 35 for over a year and love it. I can't imagine a better anchor. And Greg is just a great guy to deal with.
