Here's a closeup of the forward berth and also a picture of the forward cabin closet. The picture of the berth doesn't give a good sense of its size; it's big, and extends far forward (in the picture it looks shorter than it is, maybe because the photo from a gopro camera set on wide angle). It's plenty big enough for two 6'6" adults.

The closet has lots of storage space, with internal shelves on the sides and back. There's lots of storage space under the forward berth, too. It currently holds a sail, two anchors, a box ofpainting supplies, etc., and there's plenty of space for more stuff. There's also storage space under the seat on the starboard side (room for about a hundred cans of food there). We stored food (fruit, eggs, etc.) under the forward cabin sole in the bilge area.

Update: The new satphone has arrived. It will be included in the sale. We can mail it to the buyer (or to the buyer's agent/broker if preferred). The phone currently has about 3000 minutes of airtime available, but it expires in January.

Thanks to everyone who has sent us questions. The ones we have received are more or less like the following. If anyone would like detailed answers, please get in touch via Cruisersforum private message.

Is the boat equipped for world cruising? Short answer: Yes! That’s exactly what it’s equipped for (and done at great expense).

Would the boat make a good liveaboard? Short answer: Yes! It's perfect for that.

Can the boat be kept in its current slip in Hawaii? Short answer: Yes, as far as I know. It’s at a lovely, quiet marina, with a perfect beach just a five-minute walk away.

Can the boat be sailed to the Pacific Northwest? Short answer: Yes. It’s perfect for that and should be an easy sail (although I think it should be done in summer).

Would the boat be suitable for sailing the Northwest Passage (yes, we have gotten this question): Short answer: You read my mind. If we don't sell it, and our circumstances allow it, I plan to do just that.

Can the boat be delivered? Short answer: Yes normally, but of course it depends on where and when.

Is there owner financing available? Short answer: Yes, if it’s not too complicated for us.

Will you accept real estate in trade? Short answer: We might consider this if our circumstances allow it and it's not too complicated for us.

We have also had specific questions about particular features of the boat. Just let me know if you have questions and I can reply the next time I get onto the internet.

Did this boat get sold? I am curious. I seem to remember such a boat, but I thought it was bound for Hong Kong, early 2018. Anyway, I am also in the market for a boat. This one is not exactly fetching in appearance (to me, she is a lovely boat), but I read her description in detail before looking at any pictures, and I like the seaworthiness more than I dislike her lines. So I am interested.

Please let me know, if I should be heart broken or excited.
