1998 PDQ 36ft Capella Classic Catamaran

Well, we all know $hit happens in life. So we are forced to sell our boat to return home to take care of family matters. The boat really is completely outfitted for cruising the Caribbean. We were on our way when we had to turn back. So all you really need to do is add groceries and you are set.

Recent upgrades include:
New 9" touch screen chart plotter
New radar (solid state, no moving parts!), 24kn mile range
600 watts of solar and MPPT charger
400 watt wind gen added
AIS B added (transmit and receive)
water maker (Rainmain high cap, runs off of generator, makes 30+ GPH)
LED lighting
heavy duty stern arch with davits
new EPIRB (replaceable batteries)
new 25" 12VDC TV with DVD player and HDMI interface
6 new golf cart batteries for the house bank

Price reduced to $149,900. (Was and is valued at $165,000).
Located in Mobile, AL.

Just don't get why people have to comment like the above. Their ad not yours. Pdq is a fine cat. Has everything you need!

I agree, it's obvious they are clueless when it comes to the PDQ market.

Geez, why so serious. It's just a little light hearted ribbing. The cat is a little richly priced, even given the over heated under 150k cat market. PDQ is a fine cat. Though outboards are not what most are looking for.

I'm pretty sure the "light hearted ribbing" doesn't help the op sell his boat, in fact the opposite. This PDQ in my opinion is appropriately priced for the year. The PDQ 36 came configured with either twin outboards or twin diesels, the twin outboard model far outsold the twin diesel model and is still the preferred model.

Any chance the rig is bigger than the anemic one listed on sailboatdata.com ??? If so, what are the sail measurements (P&E, I&J)?

The PDQ 36 is a great cat. If I was in the market this cat would be a contender. Outboards preferred.

Re: 1998 PDQ 36ft Capella Classic Catamaran

i owned this boat previousl to the current owner. Unless he's changed the sails I had a new square top Uk Halsey plus a bowsprit and screecher installed. Quite decent performance for a 36 footer.

Paul
