Knot Tide Down is a 1986 Kaufman 47 bluewater cruising yacht. She has been NZ strict offshore standard Cat 1 in 2021 and 2023. This means she has been assessed as being seaworthy with all safety gear required to successfully complete offshore passages.

1) Is this the centreboard version?
2) Is the yacht currently NZ registered and imported into NZ?

3) If NZ registered, is it the permanent or 5 year renewable category?
4) From the data sheets on-line, it looks like the engine is under the cockpit with a "V" drive. Yes? If yes, how is the engine accessed?

5) What is the steering system (Edson pedestal wire/chain)? and what is the autopilot system (linear or hydraulic)?
