Chicago to Point Charlotte

We are thinking of leaving next fall from Chicago to pt Charlotte as we are only in the dreaming stages we have not bought charts as of yet curious as to the distance via the missippi etc

Last october we went from Chi to Mobile with our sailboat, mast off. Took us 25 days underway plus lay days. Most people thought we made very good time.
Mobile to Charlotte will be much harder to predict.
