Windy

Cruising again and found that Windy has changed it's format yet again and replaced the easy, quick and understandable menu with unrecognisable pictorial graphics, that severely detract from this otherwise excellent and useful resource.

The new format is bad enough on a PC where hovering over a useless icon is required to identify its function, on a phone it is even worse.

There is a feedback section within Windy and I urge those that use windy for "SAILING" and not just a casual browse and find the new format to be a backward step to add to the already negative feedback.

Re: Windy

I agree with you the written menu was better, but you can pin a few favourites at the top, even in the unpaid version.

One thing I don't like is that it switches to the roadmap when zoomed closer and removes the color overlay by doing so.

The winddirection is much better to see with the moving lines on top of the color overlay. Better contrast. I wrote a feedback on this.

Re: Windy

give it a week you will be used to it & will complain just as much if they change it to what it was.
Already I much prefer it. Definite improvement. Just human inertia to resist change & label it as "bad"
