JVCOMM32 Fax- Snow

I am trying to receive Weather Fax using a just downloaded JVCOMM32. I have the connector (mono) to Icom speaker output and microphone input on laptop.
I get "snow" and the "demo" of the software on the screen. I couldn't find a manual for the software. Can somewbody direct me to a manual and what I may need to adjust. I have it on automatic receive fax. Thanks

Re: JVCOMM32 Fax- Snow

What model "Icom"?

The level of "speaker out" varies with the volume setting. You might should be using "line out".

Try Googleing JVCOMM32 Manual...

I use either an Icom R75 or M710 and SeaTTY software. I find SeaTTY less feature ridden and easier to use for copying NAVTEX and WEFAX than JVCOMM32.
