Just joined the forum and would like to add my first five cents to the tons of useful information. I found an interesting web source for weather information, hope it will be helpful. I really liked it and it is FREE

Available is:
- visualization of global weather conditions forecast by supercomputers updated every three hours
- ocean surface current estimates updated every five days
- ocean surface temperatures and anomaly from daily average (1981-2011) updated daily

Here's a big "Thumbs Up!" for the animated wind map; I've been using it a lot for a couple of years. I get to it by: Earth.null school.net. Now I'm also checking out windyty.

Windity.com not have any app yet, but Ivo promise in FB that app for Android and IOS coming soon

But who want look windity.com in full screen in Andorid I made app called "Simple Viewer"
Just add https://www.windyty.com in url settings and app always start you inserted location.
Of course you can add you own favorite weather site and look this on fullscreen.
