Question Circuit Braker status

Hi
I would like to wire a Led to show the on off status of my windlass circuit braker {120 amps}
is it as simple as wiring either side of the Breaker?

Re: Circuit Braker status

Good practice would be to include an inline fuse in this wiring for the LED. Something like 0.5 Amps would be okay, just to protect the circuit.

Cheers!
