Hi
Need to replace my Trojan T105 6V batts. Saw some Energizers at Sam's club for around $80, a lot cheaper than Trojans, Innerstate or West marine. Does anyone have any experience with Sam's Club Batts?

You can buy trojans at golf cart places for around $100, not a big difference for the gold standard of batteries. The reason golf carts use so many is because they have proven to be the best bang for the buck. Might be worth a few phone calls.

AMEN to that. For those looking for a bigger bank, the Trojan L-14s (340 a/h) or L-16s (380 a/h) can last over 10 years, if taken care of!

There is an outfit in Clearwater that distributes Trojans. A few years ago I was able to purchase 4 T-105's classified as "Blems" due to some casting flaws in the plastic casings that had no effect on the battery's performance at all for $65.00 USD each. You might look into this as an inexpensive alternative. I don't think any other batteries are as reliable as Trojans.

if you are looking for a 6V that is a little lighter and easier to on the wallet .. check out the trojan T605. 58 pounds vs 62 pounds. 210 Ah capacity.

I once replaced a bank of 4 - 6V Trojan T125s with a similar set of Sam's Johnson Control batteries. Under similar conditions, use and maintenance, the JC batteries lasted about half the lifetime of my former Trojans. Clearly a false economy buying cheap batteries.

Trojan T105's are great batteries. I have four and they perform flawlessly.

cruised last yr with 4 yr old sams club batts-- they are seemingly up to the standards of most other 6v batts i have seen-- still had a lot of life in em, charged well and kept charge ....
