We plan to sail our 40 foot Japanese one ton class Yokoyama 40 to Hong Kong in the middle of April, from 15 of April to 22 of April. 6 berths available. Captain is professional ocean yachtmaster with over 100.000 miles offshore experience.
Boat is equipment for offshore sailing according to last ISAF regulations. If you would like to get some offshore sailing expirience and get miles for your logbook then you are welcome aboard. Weather is great in Vietnam and Hong Kong and sailing will be a pleasure for a week we'll make 700 miles. Cost of the voyage food, fuel, share between the crew. Send me a note if you are interested.
Boat located in Nha Trang 30 minutes drive on the car from Cam Ranh international airport. We'll able to arrange pick up in the airport and transfer to the boat.

Hi there,

Just checking if you're still looking for crew? I have very little sailing experience (heading out on some joy rides with my uncle when I was much younger), but I am very keen to learn how to sail, and especially to get offshore experience.

I just finished a 6 year stint as a linguist in the Navy, I didn't get any sailing experience but I did get an appreciation for life at sea, living in cramped quarters as well as fire fighting, survival at sea, damage control training and how to keep things really really really clean.
