Crew Wanted: Mature long term crew sought

I'm in American Samoa heading for the Solomons, Indonesia, The Maldives, The Seychelles, South Africa, Rio and beyond. I'm looking for someone with enough experience to know what long distance cruising is about. I can teach the rest. I'm a retired Sociologist, easy going, articulate and experienced. I've been let down by several prospective crew so please - respond only if you are serious - not just for amusement! The boat is a 35ft sloop. I am not fussy about whether you are male or female and will look at a younger person, but my preference is for someone over 40.

long term crew is hard to get these days . if you get crew to come with you in small journeys than one or two may like you setup enough to become long term .I am a 50 year old Aussie male . I sail a 17 ft fractional rigged sloop .I am an aviator, so understand navigation, have worked night shift so can keep watch .I am looking to get sea miles under my belt as I wish to get a larger boat to sail the Pacific .
