This is my resume
I am a French citizen, 48 years old, a world traveler on 3 sabbatical years (two years are alredy gone) from a computer IT company, easy going, fit, helpful, speaking fluent
english. I learned sailing by doing on
english spoken sailboats. I am an mid-experienced sailor, much more on mono-haul than cat. I have knowledge on night watches,
electronics,
plumbing, electricity,
galley duties and sailing of course.
About my sailing experience, I sailed :
- from
New Zealand to
Fiji and then
Vanuatu 2014 (1700 Nm)
- from
Mexico to
Fiji on 12 different
boats for the PaddleJump 2013 (over 7000 Nm)
- from
San Carlos to Mazatlan, in
Mexico, on a
catamaran 35' in January 2013 (500 Nm)
- from
San Diego to
Tahiti via
French Polynesia for the PaddleJump 2004 (3000 Nm)
I am looking for a working
passage (i.e.
food, berth provided) in exchange of my services.
From my tourist point of view, I am looking for a
cruising sailboat or motorboat, enjoying to visit islands, local life, not in hurry to
cruise (not a
delivery trip).
Sailboats who knows me as
references : Kiapa, Realtime, DoubleDiamond, Huck, Peregrine, Alegria, Red, Wizard, Ithaka, DreamWaver, SetMeFree, Cariba, Osprey, Ithaka, L'antillaise, Reine Marguerite, Elonnisa ...
My today's phrase will be : make your journey easier and more fun!
Thanks and enjoy life
Happy sail, fair
wind
