Sail from Singapore to New Zealand in Oct. 2014

My husband and I have a 13 meter all teak sloop that we want to sell in New Zealand. We are in Langkawi, Malaysia, and will head for New Zealand in Oct.. Can anyone tell us about the route and any suggestions about selling a beautiful center cockpit custom built sloop?

We were making the same trip going the other way in 2012. Stopped off in the Solomon Islands to see The Pacific Festival of the Arts July 2012 arrived in the Philippines in Oct.

We are just wondering about leaving here, Langkawi, in Oct. to head south?

Kathleen,

Well, that will bring you down at the early bit of cyclone season. However, there are cyclone holes along the way, Pt. Sandwich in Vanuatu and up the river at Pt. Laguerre and Baie de Carenage in New Caledonia come to mind.
