Crew Available: Caribbean - Anywhere for Kiwi sailor and Son

Gidday all, I am a 44 yr old New Zealander travelling with my 12 yr old son. I have done a few Pacific passages ex NZ and he is a competent laser sailor. I would like to introduce him to Caribbean Cruising with a short stint somewhere. He has never spent more than 8 days on our yacht at home, so not interested in anything long or arduous really. I can provide sailing references as needed, currently in Florida, ready to go.

We are a family cruising on a 40´ catamaran in Panama and the San Blas at the moment. Check out San Blas on google. We could do something with you if you wanted to take a cheap flight over here. However, in some posts you have a 13 year old son and in others he is 12 years old and this lack of consistency is concerning. Please elaborate.

Many thanks for your kind offer. Unfortunately as I am travelling with my son I had to get a little organised and booked flights to Nassau Bahamas for tomorrow. I have booked one night in a hotel, and we will wing it from there. If there's any boats great, otherwise we'll just hang out at the pool and hire a laser off the beach. Not ideal, but not such a terrible plan!

Hi John and patrick, we saw your ad and thought you might be interested in sailing with us a bit. I understand that you are in the bahamas by the pool, but if you change your mind we will be in Peurto Rico tomorrow and then sailing to the Dominican Republic. We are a franco-american family with a 10 year old girl. If you change your mind......we are a 47 foot sailing boat WITH an optimist, it's not a laser, but still cool.
