BVI to NZ

hi guys,
in the coming month i will organise to purchase (from moorings) a 42 ft jeanneau-or similar.i intend to sail it back to NZ and i will be looking for some crew (the boat has 8 permanent berths minus 2 for me &wife...).the sailing plan at the moment is pretty loose but it should look like BVI,curacao, cartagena, panama, galapagos, tahiti, tong a,fiji, new cal and NZ bay of islands ...and why not a few more spots in between.this is essentially a pleasure cruise disguised as a delivery. more or less one week sailing, two weeks R&R (or vice versa...)...estimated total duration-4 to 5 months.starting from BVI in march/april 2009
I am taking all boat expenses, the crew pays for getting on and off the boat, food&drink contribution or sharing cost negotiable(unless you can garantee a fish caught everyday!...)and all personal expenses.this is a drug free, smoke free (as in NONE at all...)and the rest in moderation...electronic/mechanical or other special skills appreciated, good sense of humor essential ...by the way,i'm french/australian and my wife is chinese/kiwi......we swear in many languages
for more info please send email to jfbureau@hotmail.com
i will start selecting crew mid-february (going overseas out of internet reach this week...)
looking forward to hear from you -preferably mature-boys and girls

Hi guys,
thank you all who have taken an interest in this voyage.due to personal-and financial-change in circumstances, this project has now been re-scheduled to next year.however, it is likely to be crewed by friends and family, therefore i no longer need crew...to those who have already given me your contact, i will keep your address...just in case
best regards
JF

Ok maybe a little bit more info. Its on again, means you are going again.

Does that mean you are takling friends and family or you need a crew?

Hi Tallyhorob,
even if friends and family can make it (???...), i'll still need to have a couple of good reliable hands for all or part of the trip...
i'm also counting with some crew wanting, but not being able to make it...
for the boats, the choices at the moment are :-dufour 38 from martinique,or jeanneau 42 from BVI...
