Oh hooray! It worked! Also according to the manual this windlass is sized to accept the following sizes of chain 9.5 mm., American BBB 3/8, American HT 3/8 and most European 10 mm. Also have the original handle, just not in the pics. Cheers.

CORRECTION NOTICE. Apparently the information contained in the manual is incorrect as to size of chain it will accept. I have it on good authority (SL Spares in Scotland ) that the windlass will accept 5/16 G43 HT ISO and 3/8 BBB. It will not work with 3/8 G43. Sorry for any confusion. Just wanted to make it clear.
