Re: Raymarine RS125+ GPS Antenna

My apologies. We paid $375 for it a year ago. It seems that they have been replaced by the Raymarine RS 130. I still think that it is worth at least $100 and have changed the price. Thanks for bringing this to my attention.

Re: Raymarine RS125+ GPS Antenna

Where are you located? Is the cable included? Has the cable been shortened or spliced? What is the cable length? Is it functioning properly? Thanks.

I have tried to upload a pic, but obviously not. I can't seem to send you a personal reply. If you want, send me your email address to: ws.idletime@yahoo.com and I will send pictures.

Re: Raymarine RS125+ GPS Antenna

Now I see from your photos why you didn't answer my previous questions. The cable has been cut short and what is left has been spliced. Does this thing work?

Re: Raymarine RS125+ GPS Antenna

My apologies. I did send an email as a response to an alert from cruisers forum (via my personal email acct) with pics attached. Thought that it would go to you, but obviously not. I am still trying to figure out how these "threads" work. I sent:

"When we installed the antenna, the cable was cut about 12" past the unit and spliced into our old (existing) antenna wire, per instructions from Raymarine. Pics attached.

Yes, the antenna works fine. Our old Raymarine chartplotter died, and we are replacing it with Garmin because we have to also upgrade our radar. We are located in Georgetown, SC. Please let me know if you have any more questions.

Walter Smith"
