Got sailboat in La Paz? Looking for passive income & free boat repairs?

Hi,

My husband and I cruised in 2009. Well, mostly we did a lot of sailboat repair with a bit of sailing on a 44' Columbia in Venezuela. We ran out of money after a year and had to head back to land.

We've kept the cruising dream alive; our son is 1 year old. When our kids get a bit older we will buy a boat and hit the high seas again. In the meantime we'd like to stay in contact with sailing and get out of the states for a few months a year. We're wondering if there is someone out there with a boat in La Paz (preferably Marina de la Paz) looking to bring in some passive income when they aren't using their boat (and get stuff fixed when it breaks, to boot).

Our timeline is somewhat flexible, we'd like to go during the winter season for at least 6 weeks. Eddy, my husband, will be working (remotely) doing the week so we'd just be using the boat for living and weekend trips. Our ideal is a 38' catamaran, or something of equivalent size.

If there is someone out there who is a good match, we are happy to provide more info on our backgrounds, sailing & repair experience, etc.

I realize this is a lot smaller than you're looking for, but I've got a balboa 27 in the sea of cortez that I'd be willing to let you use at a VERY reasonable price.

Thanks for the offer, but 27' is too small for us now that we have a little one.
