Re: Cruising Sailboat
Look, since you're all lining up to give your boats away to a good cause, do any of you have one you could give to SeaMercy? My idea, not theirs: http://www.cruisersforum.com/forums/...ml#post1150453
Edit: Sorry, Boatman, not yours. This projects needs a little more storage I'm afraid x x x

I hope your dreams come true as well, because if they do, I will soon be asking the same thing.

Re: Cruising Sailboat
I thought Boatman61 lived on a Wharram.
This has been a confusing thread--I'm not used to being told to go to hell prior to teaching my first class of the morning.

No Bash... Boatmans owned 2 Wharrams... lived the summers on the Tiki 21... 2 man dome tent fitted just right on the deck between the hulls at anchor... under sail used my hand stitched 12ftx6ft sprayhood when I needed a kip...
I was keen and tough back then..
same with the 26... but minus the tent and sprayhood...

Yep, confusing in some ways for sure! But I think it can be summed up concisely:
Max ran an advantageous-to-self idea up the flagpole to see if anyone would salute. The single fingered salute that was offered didn't satisfy him so he became indignant and lashed out at the saluters.
One wonders what he will do next?
Cheers,
Jim

Coming from the land of entitlements, I must say this thread has made me feel good about humanity again. May those that work for a living never be ashamed of it.

Well I'm not ashamed to work. But if I could find an acceptable alternative.........
So I am not asking for a nice ready to go boat because people normally have an emotional attachment to their boat! I will just accept the equivalent in that nasty looking green cash stuff, no one is emotionally attached to that!
