Want To Buy: Broken carbon fiber mast or boom wanted

Hello this is going to sound strange but I am looking for a broken (ie cheap) carbon fiber, or light aluminum mast or boom (I will use a ~20' section of it). I plan to use it to retrofit the throwing arm on a very large pumpkin trebuchet (like you see on discovery channel around thanksgiving). Any suggestions or leads would be greatly appreciated. It would need to be within driving distance of me so within a few hundred miles of mid state new york/ hudson valley area Thanks - Oliver
