Aries Wind Vane -- type 1, recently rebuilt

Hello,

I have an wind vane">Aries Wind Vane, type 1, but recently rebuilt.
It is looking for a good home; someone who will use it.

It is currently set up on a heavy 33' sailboat with a tiller.

The main frame on the unit was broken, and I got a replacement from
Peter in Denmark. All the bearings were recently replaced.

The unit comes with some nice extras -- several wooden wind vanes, and
a compass that mounts along side the unit.

Asking $1000 or best offer.
Thanks,
Dave

Hi there,

You reckon it can pack down and be posted to Australia? I am keen to buy it!

Yes, I imagine this unit can be shipped anywhere.
I can package it up and send it via a commercial carrier.
I forgot to mention that I also have the original manual that came with the unit. My email address is davec@curado.org. Please write to me there, and we can figure out the details. (and I can send you pictures and so forth as well)
Thanks,
Dave
