30' Allied Seawind ketch

1972 Allied Seawind ketch for sale, $15,000. Solid, full keeled cruising boat, a sister-ship was the first fiberglass sailboat to circumnavigate. She is fully equipped for long term cruising with full galley and enclosed head. She comes with a 25 hp Westerbeke diesel engine, Eagle Cuda 240 depth sounder/GPS, Eagle Magna III Plus depth sounder, Standard Horizon Quest VHF, Autohelm autopilot, whisker pole, Kenwood AM/FM/CD player with speakers, dodger and bimini. Anchors include 33 pound Bruce with 90 feet of 6 mm chain with 150 feet of rode, 20 pound CQR with 25 feet of 7/16th inch chain and 150 feet of rode, 6/7 Fortress, 12 pound Danforth kedge anchor with 10 feet of 10 mm stainless steel chain and rode. 9 foot Boston Whaler dinghy with Tohatsu 5 horse 4 stroke engine. Rolling furling jibs-120 and 170, main and mizzen sails, mizzen staysail, storm jib and storm trysail. This boat has provided us years of enjoyment and travel throughout the Great Lakes, NE, East coast and Caribbean. Currently we are onboard, cruising the Long Island Sound, NY. It is time for someone else to enjoy her.

She is still for sale, on the hard in Swansea, MA.
