3-Axle Sailboat Trailer

3-Axle, 32'x7 1/2' (tire to tire) trailer used to support 6 ton, 34' Citation sailboat during boat rebuild and transport to her berth in Oriental, NC. Heavy steel I beams, 14 adjustable support pads, lights, electric brakes, removable 5th wheel gooseneck, 6 new (driven only 500 miles) heavy-duty tires, on blocks to protect tires. Use as your portable "dry dock" or to haul your boat to new location with dually pick-up truck. Listed on EBay Motors/business & industrial/heavy equipment/trailers category Auction @ $5,000. Cost of commercial moving your boat over land could easily exceed cost of trailer. Haul it yourself and keep the trailer. Available for pick up at Lenoir, NC (28645) location. Keep your eyes peeled on Craigslist, Recycler and the "trader" publications there in So Cal too...

Last time I looked a year or two ago, I found 2-3 trailers that are similar to this there locally...

This trailer won't do it for you. I looked at this trailer a couple of weeks ago, and it is not for 18,000-20,000 lbs. That's a helluva trailer sailor

Good luck-

Re: 3-Axle Sailboat Trailer

Typical low-boy axles are 6,000 lb ea. so 18,000 lbs capacity including trailer too of course, but you do subtract the tongue weight. Do-able, but close depending on speed and distance travelled.
Whatcha gonna pull it with?
