FP Tobago - Need Help

I just purchased a 94 Tobago for our Charter Fleet. The boat will be traveling the West Coast of the US and I have a little work to do.

Does anybody have the model number of the engines used? I need to replace the secondary fuel filter and lines, but not sure what to buy.

Is there a link that may have the specs I'm looking for?

Re: FP Tobago - need help

A '94 Tobago could have been repowered, suggest you look at the engines and see if you can find a number on them.

Re: FP Tobago - need help

If your boat has Yanmar 2GM20FC (18hp.) the fuel filter mounted to the left front side of the engine is probably a WIX Part Number 33262. I thought I'd never find one so I pulled mine out and went to an old auto parts store where they matched it up.

Re: FP Tobago - Need Help

We replaced all the copper in Cat Tales, Tobago 1996, with the appropriate grade of rubber, and installed Racor 500 primary. We use the same pore size as the primary, and leave the primary alone until we have real trouble with fuel (not yet). The secondarys are rather finicky with little screws and tiny threads. Best to leave them alone as much as possible.
