Plugins(TP): TestPlugin Template 1.0.258 (updated)

We need some testing done on recent work on TP frontend. After Dave merges these plugins into PIM (opencpn/plugins) Beta catalog, they will become available for download and installation from the Plugin Manager Beta Catalog.

Please report successes, failures, OS used and plugin used. We learn from both success and failure. Special interest in Win7,8.10,11 using OpenCPN 5.6 with O5.6 version of these plugins. Does it work ok? WinXT is no longer supported by this version of TP frontend.

These plugins have had TP frontend streamlined and opencpn-lib submodule added. Dave has been wonderfully helpful and spearheaded the introduction of the submodule and these improvements.

After these plugins are thoroughly tested for various OS, making sure they open and operate ok, we will then introduce the changes to other TP plugins. (Note that particular bugs and rfe have not been touched, we are just testing the TP frontend deployment software)

and in case where is located? in Crowdin?
I'm not able to find it.

We must work from the most current plugins, and it is vital that all reports include important details such as OS, Opencpn version, Plugin, Plugin version before the report can be properly considered and responded to. Thank you.

I'm asking for the translation file to local language, as far as I see, could not find the localization in Crowdin, either is this plugin not translated for the time being?
worst thing I getting blind and could not find it?

it seems that FTB the plugin is not yet ready for translation, in folder C:\Users\XXXXX\AppData\Local\opencpn\share\locale\ es_ES\LC_MESSAGES
there is not language file for it, also, checked in another languages and not found the correspondent language file.

Hi Rick, the latest version of the Climatology Plugin (1.6.30.0) on the master catalogue fails to load on my 2023 MBP M2. "The following plugin has encountered errors during startup: Climatology". It crashes OpenCPN if I try to Enable it.

Where can I download the previous version of the Climatology Plugin for Mac? I an sailing from New Caledonia to Vanuatu and have a nasty cyclone bearing down on me.

It is OK Rick - I installed the previous version of Climatology from a Time Machine Backup. Version 1.6.30.0 is problematical on my MBP M2 running Sonoma 14.0.
