Plugins+RPI2+ocpn

Hello,
Watchdog doesn't appear in OpenCPN.
Everything is OK. RPI2, Jessie and OpenCPN 4.8.0.

I have do this (and several other tries...):

sudo nano /etc/apt/sources.list
deb Index of /opencpn/opencpn/ubuntu trusty main
sudo apt-key adv --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com --recv-keys C865EB40
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install opencpn
sudo apt-get install opencpn-plugin-watchdog

No way, I don't have watchdog in OpenCPN. Any idea ?

Doug, all I know is that there is a new version 2.0 on Sean's website and that Windows has not been updated either!

Hi,

if the source in the sources.list is the right one then you can try to go over the menue (click on the raspberry in the left corner of the desktop then preferences then add/remove software). In the search field type "opencpn". Then on the right you will see all the packages for oc. Search for opencpn-plugin-watchdog-etc, activate the checkbox and then ok. Maybe you will have to accept this with your admin-password. Then start oc look to the preferences / plugins and then you will find watchdog.
