PI programming active waypoint

While programming a new plugin (Compass deviation), I try to find a way to get the course to the active waypoint. Checking the ocpn_plugin.h file I don't see a function to do this. Am I overseeing something??

Re: PI programming active waypoint

Rooiedirk, Now would be a good time to contact jongough (maybe pm him) and to look at the ocpn_draw.api. Jon has added messaging necessary for ocpn_draw to work with watchdog and weather_routing which requires change to the opencpn.lib.

It looks like your request might fall into that category. You could also ask pavel or bdbcat about this.

Re: PI programming active waypoint

Dirk...

You are correct. There is no way in the released Plugin API to detect the currently active waypoint.

I can add this to the API update now under development. But of course, this means that your plugin will not be useful until we release an update to O48.

Comments?
