OpenCPN Windows 11 Shutdown Problems?

Hi All,
I have experienced many episodes where OpenCPN does not seem to shut down properly after a passage. I hit the X in the upper right corner and OpenCPN goes away. Next time I start, I get the Safe Restart message which tells me that all didn't go well. There is no crash report generated.

Sometimes the navobj.xml.changes file gets corrupted (I think) and then OpenCPN won't start until that file is deleted. (I added a GITHUB bug report about this which includes the corrupted file.)

I haven't figured out what causes this shutdown problem. Any others have this issue? Maybe together we can figure it out.
Thanks,
Bruce

Bruce, I think that if you don't get some reasonable suggestions here, you should post in Github Issues.
