OpenCpn on a Mac, Can't download CN93

I had an older Version of Opencpn on my MacBookPro,everything worked so I decided to upgrade to OpenCpn 3.0.2 it opened and I tried to load CM93 charts,
now nothing works. All I get is a black screen with a blue outline of the world
and the tool bar. the computer gets locked up. I have tried to uninstall then reinstall, but still nothing. opencpn seems to be working but will not load the charts.

Sounds like you lost your settings.
Go to the Charts tab of the settings window, check that you still have the CM93 folder listed, and do a full database rebuild.

I had a similar problem. The chart outlines were displayed, but not the contents. I fixed it by deleting my ~/Applications Support/OpenCPN/ directory.

There is no folder "~/Applications Support/OpenCPN/" on a Mac machine but only a folder "~/Library/Applications Support/OpenCPN/".
This folder contains a file called "chartlist.dat" which is usually fixed and rebuild when you make a "Force Full Database Rebuild" in Toolbox/Charts.

Reading carefully the docs of OCPN might often help to solve a problem.

Sounds like you may have just lost the path to the charts and OpenCPN is looking in the wrong place. Go into the settings option and amend the path.
