OpenCPN Chart display problem

Hello,

I've searched the forum but couldn't find this issue. Sorry if this is a duplicate thread.
I'm using windows 8.1, I have installed openCPN 4.0.0 (latest stable version), I've downloaded some charts which as I can see are .txt files and .000 (etc) files.

I follow the below process:
Options > Charts > Add Directory.. > Apply > OK

Then I can see some areas with a green stroke line and if I click or zoom then the chart will appear.

Could you please explain me why the charts don't show instantly all together?
Because right now I must go to every area and zoom/click for it to load the chart.

Thanks for your tip.
I have installed the NOAA charts and everything is fine.

I've read in the manual that CM93 version 3 charts are not supported. Is that true?

Yes, this is correct - no C-MAP, no Garmin, no Navionics vector charts.
They have their private encrypted format and would require specific plug-ins backed from this vendors.
