Re: OpenCPN Beta Version 4.5.213

Dave,
I re-run OCPN. Now, it is in english.

I play a bit with Base, Standard, All in Options/Vector charts.

1° The 3 item with normal vector charts settings are :
- Base,
- Standard,
- All.

In the InlandsECDIS bar, the 3 charts settings are :
- Minimum,
- Standard,
- All.

Please, what difference from Base and Minimum ?

2° Then, I change of language from english to french.....> Another crash with a crash report that I send.

Gilletarom.

This is documented in the InlandECDIS standard. Mandatory settings.

Ok, but, what difference ? Is the list of objects to display the same?

I see no option to switch this to on. But I can be the character set. I have to look in that.

Re: OpenCPN Beta Version 4.5.213

When I try to download the Windows version of 4.5.213 it just sits there, showing 0 bytes downloaded, unknown file size. Could there be a problem with the download site? I'll try later, might just be busy.

Beta 4.5.213 does not display ENC text when OpenGl is not selected.

It does display the text from CM93 when OpenGL is not selected.

I see this failure to display ENC text in DC mode (OpenGL off) beginning with my build with commits to OpenCPN Master on Feb 12, 2017. I built it about 1200 UTC 13 Feb 2017. My previous build on 08 Feb 2017 2100 UTC displays ENC text in DC mode.

Re: OpenCPN Beta Version 4.5.213

It is really astonishing how many formerly fine running functions can be destroyed simply by implementing a new function...
