Hi,
I have just put up new versions of OD (1.5.35), TP (1.0.10) and Squiddio (0.7.3). OD introduces hyperlinks on all ODPoint types, TP demonstrates the use of both JSON and ODAP for the creation of hyperlinks and Squiddio uses the ODAPI to create its location Text Points which should have all the same information now as was included in waypoints.


There are no binary versions yet as these are either beta versions or for testing purposes (i.e. TP - TestPlugin). They are available from:
https://github.com/jongough in repositories ocpn_draw_pi, testplugin_pi and squiddio_pi .

Jon,

I understand all of these run in Opencpn v4.99?
- OD 1.5.35
- Squiddio
- OD Test Points
I will need ocpn_plugin.h from that and the OpenCPN.lib version from 4.99?

I have a VM setup for v4.99 which now compiles OpenCPN and will try this.

Jon should EBL offset be called Parallel Index?

The OD tool has a PI based on an EBL. In fact it has two PI's, a Parallel Index Line (PIL) and a Perpendicular Index Line (EBL with it selected).

Looking through the discussion I think what OD has is sensible and meaningful. I also think the PIL is more functional than the radar equivalent , but that is just me.
