Please note that the new version of the plugin Ptizef would not work with OpenCPN v3.0.2.
For me it works with OpenCPN 3.2
It does not work with OpenCPN 3.0.2 (the icon can not be enabled)

I realize this is a pain and I probably broke something, but I think it is more or less merged now. Any final issues should be relatively easy to resolve. Also the code could be improved without changing functionality if you want I am happy to take work with these types of changes.

I have done git fetch --all and sean/grib_enhancements downloaded and uncompressed many new files 100%.

git checkout sean/grib_enhancements.
git branch -a shows git pointer *sean/grib_enhancements
Then build normally and copy built Debug grib_pi.dll
to opncpn-git/built/plugins

This plugin ran fine. It was labeled version 2.1 and looks and works just the same as the previous grib_enhancements dll. Do I have the correct one? -Was the version number changed or not?

I did test this grib_pi.dll and found it to be excellent at reading and rendering all the grib files in the dropbox, including the ones in the Currents-dont-work folder!

I attach this release dll with the name grib_pi-ep2.dll.doc (I hope it have the merged version) Please take off the doc and test it in your plugins directory. I've also checked this in release Opencpn 3.2.

Thank you Sean, your efforts are showing up as a more stable and versatile grib plugin.

In using this version I started to realize that on a 15" laptop with good resolution, I do like the expandable tree version menu and have been using it, also having the check boxes (or radio buttons) right there for data types that are actually in the chart would be very nice. I see the grib_enhancements interface as a possible Popup Menu for going into "Play" mode (using just one Movie icon on the first menu?)

I really do like the Display control for each data type in grib enhancements.

We don't seem to see Jean Pierre's smaller starting menu with the opportunity to email, etc. Is a new version of that to come a little later when you and Jean are working on the same plugin code?

Should be version 2.2

Are you sure you pulled the grib_enhancements branch? When you type git log do you see changes Sunday march 31?

That explains it. It was 2.1! I did git fetch --all twice, but I will Now git pull sean grib_enhancements next. Sorry, everyone.

After having trouble with git, I finally "git" Version 2.2.
This works great for a big merge like this. Good Job.
I like the Prefs in Settings and the data sensitive data display, works like a charm. Thankyou.

Two little problems, very minor.

1. Windows shows a horizontal scroll where file name should be. I can try to send a wxformbuilder which changes this Windows quirk if you like. Tell me what file to load. Learned from SaltyPaws today about this.

2. When Playing grib AND Email there is a Break. Maybe when Email is hit, the Play is stopped? See screenshot and Break Call Stack (which does not say much.)

Sean's and Jean's release DLL for Windows testing, result of a great collaborative effort, is attached. Take kml off please, bigger than 400kb.
