Hight précision Currents files GRIB

Good evening, I sail a lot in regattas in the English Channel/Ireland/East Atlantic. Current plays a major role in routes choices.

The internet https://baroropic.frsite provides with very high precision grib files for currents.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to play these files with OPEN CPN. Is there any way to use theses files in the routing modules of OPEN CPN?

The gribs work with XyGrib and Qtvlm but not OpenCPN.

The Irish gribs work well but without the same precision:

It would be nice to see the https://barotropic.fr files working in OpenCPN.

I have no problem displaying the barotropic grib files with OCpn, after extracting the grb2 files from the bz2 packaging using 7-Zip...

We find currents precise location and speed a crap shoot in the Caribbean. We used it as a guide from Bequai to Tobago. COPERNICUS. It defined the general rout with regard to equatorial current. The back eddy downstream of Tobago is well defined with a visible rip. You could see on the SOG and crab angle on the plotter when you ventured into the current. On the Copernicus image, blue-white is 2-3/4 knots. Navionics on the plotter has good tidal currents and timing for many coastal areas.

The files opened on a Windows 10 tablet. The filename was shortened before using.
It could be the graphics card on my other Win 10 computer is causing the problem.

Always remember, high precision is not the same as high accuracy.
