Help!!! Grib Saildocs send

Hello,

I am trying to use the GRIB send option to retrieve saildocs, when I do I get the error message

"Request can't be sent. Please verify your email system parameters.
You should also have a look at your log file."

I have subscribed to saildocs and can receive the file via my outside email software. I can save the grib file and upload it into the GRIB plugin and utilize the information in Opencpn. I can not get Opencpn to retrieve the information and as such I can not utilize the update function.

Do I need to mess with the advanced settings and set up a mail system within opencpn? if so any steps to share?

Make sure that your " outside email software." also is your systems default mailing agent. Google how to do this for your particular operating system.

Thanks for the tip. My mail app is the default. I am using windows mail and calendar. Has anyone heard of conflicts with this software and OpenCPN?
