GPS Serial Input ?

I am running opencpn (1.3.6) on my laptop with windows XP. My GPS is a standard Horizon, the GPS out goes to my VHF for DSC. So I have 2 questions
1. Can I use the GPS output for both the VHF and laptop(at the same time)?
2. Which pins of the 9 pin serial conector do I use as the input?

Yes you can power 3 to 4 receivers.

Thanks that was what I needed to know but could not find.
Later in the week I will go too the boat and try it out.
So far I am impressed with Opencpn.
