Doppler Halo 20

Hello,
I have connecting a halo Radar with opencpn 5.8 and the plug in Radar 5.5. When I'm starting the Doppler mode, it 's start without problem but stop after 3 or 5 seconds. I have'nt find anything about this problem in the manual or on th net. Is there someone on this forum ti help me please ?

HALO 20 doesn't have Doppler, but we don't know how to detect the difference between HALO 20+ (which does have Doppler) and HALO 20.

If you could make a tcpdump .pcap or .pcapng file and upload it to https://github.com/opencpn-radar-pi/radar_pi that would be very helpful, maybe we can see something different in one of the packets coming from the radar.

If my memory is good, last year, I could use the dopler function...
I have prepare the package, but I can't upload it on Gethub / radar Pi because I haven't "push access "to upload a file on the repository. Could you give me the access on github, please ?

That’s not how GitHub works 🤣

You can create a new issue on the project and upload your pcap files there.

If you have developed a source code improvement, fork the project (which your own r/w project) then commit changes to that project, then you create a pull request for my project asking me to incorporate your changes into our project.

Sorry, my english is poor and I don't know anything about Github.
I'have created an issue 'Dopler Halo 20' and joined a file .txt. Impossible for me to upload a .pcapng file in github...
This "halo 20 1 "file represents 20% of my .pcapng file. So if you need more tell me !
