Depth transducer “known good” with openplotter and OpenCPN

Hello! I just updated my boat to openplotter and almost simultaneously my Raymarine depth/speed transducer died.
I’m looking for a replacement and would like it to be NMEA 2000 so that I can use it with openplotter. Price and durability are of course issues but I don’t mind paying a little more for dependable equipment.

Does anyone recommend a good depth/speed transducer with NMEA 2000?

Thanks!

THT

Pretty much all the brands are actually selling Airmar transducers, so they "all are the same".
You either buy one that produces NMEA2000 itself, which means it will be one of https://www.airmar.com/Catalog/Marin...a-ac6a013c40cb, or you need to get one that is specifically designed for the proprietary connection to your MFD (like the 8/12 wire Garmin for example).

Forgot to add - through-hull and bronze is a requirement. If stainless isn’t a finicky choice then that works as well.

I didn’t know that they are all airmar. Good to know! Thanks for the info.
