Database for OpenCPN

Hello everyone, I'm new here.
I want to ask if anyone knows how to create a plugin in OpenCPN for my college project. I want to make a plugin that can save ship data captured by RTL-SDR into a database, I already have the coding but I don't know how to install it into OpenCPN. I am using raspberry pi. Please help me...

Yes, there are several plugins that use a database. https://github.com/nohal/objsearch_pi for example.
Your question is a tad too general though, you need to be more concrete to receive any useful guidance. And https://github.com/OpenCPN/OpenCPN/discussions is probably a somewhat better place to discuss code.
