DashboardSK_pi.pot

Hello PAVEL Kalian,

We are having some difficulty translating, into French, certain items in the DashboardSK_pi.pot language file.

Here is the list of items for which we need explanations:
- Relative bearing (Righthand bearing)

- Steaming into leading line

- Sun bearing

- Sun bearing shadowline

- Right hand bearing

- Bearing from route

Thank you in advance for your help.

I can explain some of them with the Spanish Translation and what I understand in English about:
- Relative bearing (Righthand bearing), angle between the fore (ship's head) and the object coming from Starboard and clockwise (in Spanish: Marcación)

- Steaming into leading line, you know the marks and/or light for the access to some port or channel that it says that you must steer in certain course (those are leading light/marks, most of them consists in two light in line at different heights and separate one from each other in order giving you a good steering line in sight, nowadays you can find it with only one and having colour sector of light telling you if you are steering in the port side, starboard or in the centre) that is when you are making the course following those mark/lights (In Spanish: gobernando sobre una enfilación)
hopefully in the attachment is much clearer.

- Sun bearing, I guess is the easiest, taking a bearing of the sun, supposed to be from the North (magnetic either true) (In Spanish: Demora del Sol)

- Sun bearing shadowline, same as above but taken with one object that gives you a shadow of the sun over the compass or a compass rose, used to be quite common in old merchant vessels.
also, because it was done with a special compass sometimes was a Righthand bearing instead a North based bearing. (Spanish, Demora del sol con Pínula)
see the attached picture, with the center pin you get the sun shadow and with it the reading of the bearing, uses to be as it's a shadow right the opposite of the real bearing.

- Right hand bearing, explained in first point

- Bearing from route, over an active route take as source a stable COG and compare with the Magnetic course. (Spanish: Demora (Rumbo COG) de ruta activa)
