Northwest Passage

How many of you would attempt or have done this passage?
At 22:10 hrs sailing through what seems to be harmless chunks of ice...but it sounds scary!
Does anyone know what kind of changes occur to fiberglass when it's 28° f or -16° C ? Is there a linear increase in brittle..ness (?) or linear decrease in tensile strength, impact resistance, cracking of epoxy, polyester or gel coat, etc..I'm not a materials expert!
