Yacht Devices CAN Log viewer help needed

Hello,

I have installed an YDEG-04 engine gateways for two Volvo D2-40 and they both work great. However, I have difficulties to decode the data log.

Following the example in the manual, I recognized the ID in the ID(hex) column (last two digits), sorted the data by time, then converted D1 and D2 into a decimal value.

According to the NMEA log there are five different variables: engine speed (rpm), engine temperature, total engine hours, engine status 1 and 2. Since there was never an engine status (error message) reported, I ended up with three separate ID's for each engine, just as expected. However, converting the D1 and D2 bit provides no recognizable pattern or any kind of recognizable data.

I used the same method on the sample Volvo XC90 data provided with the CAN log software and it seems to work well.

Any recommendations?

Thanks, Tom
